They may engage in the analysis, simulation, design of electrical energy systems, manufacturing, testing or servicing of electrical or electronics equipment, engineering related software development or they may go in for higher studies in specialized areas of Electrical, Electronics or Computer Engineering. Most of the jobs are in engineering and business consulting firms, manufacturers of electrical equipment, industrial machinery and professional & scientific instruments. Communications and utilities firm's manufacturers of aircraft and computer based firms also employ electrical engineers. In the government sector electrical engineers find jobs in the various electricity boards as well as in the armed forces.
